AI Assistant - Alt-Text content generation for images
The AI assistant bridges our products and AI, allowing you to benefit from advanced technology while performing daily tasks.
Wherever the AI assistant is available, it appears at the top of the screen for you to engage with. This is an optional feature that may be added as a subscription to your CRS contract and enabled by the support team.
With the AI assistant in the CRS, you can quickly generate alt-text content for images loaded in the application to accommodate screen readers. You can generate alt-text for images across the CRS, including property, room, rate and add-on elements. This in-application AI assistant is designed to save you time, training and effort.

Generate alt-text content for an image
Follow the steps below to generate an alt-text content for an image.
Go to Property Description.
Go to Room Type.
Go to the Multimedia tab.
Choose the Room Type from the dropdown in the upper right of the screen.
Click on the View/Modify/Cancel link for the image to add content to.
Click on the AI assistant button at the top of the screen and the modal will open

Click Generate.
Check the boxes for the fields you want to add content related to the image:
Title.
SEO or Alt Text.
Click Generate at the bottom of the modal and the system will return the written content in the modal, you may adjust as needed.
Click Apply to transfer the content into the CRS fields, you may still adjust the content if needed.
X out of the AI Assistant to close the modal.
Click Update to save.
🤓Tip: The same logic and workflow apply to anywhere else images are loaded at the Property level.
Translate alt-text content for an image to other languages
Once you complete the alt-text for the default language, you can use the AI assistant to translate the content into other languages used for guest facing content at the property.
Follow the steps below to learn how to translate alt-text content for an image to other languages:
Go to Property Description.
Go to Room Type.
Go to the Multimedia tab.
Choose the Room Type from the dropdown in the upper right of the screen.
Click on the View/Modify/Cancel link for the image you want to add content for.
Verify there is content for your default and select the Language from the dropdown.
Click on the AI assistant button at the top of the screen and the modal will open
.
Click Translate.
Check the boxes for the fields you want to add translated content related to the image:
Title.
SEO or Alt Text.
Click Translate at the bottom of the modal and the system will return the written content in the modal, you may adjust as needed.
Click Apply to transfer the content into the CRS fields, you may still adjust the content if needed.
X out of the AI Assistant to close the modal.
Click Update to save.
