After the March release this new booking flow will be enabled for the CRS booking engine. For reservations where one room is booked, both post-confirmation and pre and post-confirmation add-ons now appear on the CRS booking engine immediately upon confirmation or when retrieving an existing booking without requiring the shopper to begin a modification. This provides a more proactive upsell experience to maximize revenue opportunities. For multi-room reservations, shoppers may access available add-ons by selecting modify, ensuring clarity to know which add-ons apply to each of bookings while keeping the experience intuitive.

To prepare for this change, customers are encouraged to review the setup of their add-ons and make any desired adjustments to optimize their revenue strategy for these upsell opportunities. As a reminder, add-ons capabilities within the CRS provide granular control over pricing, inventory, and occupancy strategies, allowing you to tailor services and amenities to enhance guest experiences and drive more revenue.
