Abbreviation reference:

  • ARI: Availability, rates and inventory.

  • AR: Availability and rate.

  • Min or Max LOS: Minimum and maximum length of stay, based on overall stay.

  • CTA or CTD: Close to arrival or close to departure.

  • SHR: SHR Group - SHR's CRS.

  • FPLOS: Full pattern length of stay, unique to Opera PMS.

Full pattern length of stay functionality

πŸ“ŒNote: FPLOS support is only available with Expedia Connect and requires Opera PMS integration.

FPLOS messaging

With Expedia connect, you benefit from full pattern length of stay (FPLOS) message support. This functionality allows for more sophisticated length of stay restrictions to be communicated to Expedia group.

CRS FPLOS configuration

In the CRS, you can set FPLOS using three methods:

  • Close.

  • Close to arrival.

  • Close to departure.

⚠️Important: Only FPLOS Close settings will post to Expedia Group. Other restriction types are automatically converted into FPLOS messages according to Expedia's requirements.

Pattern length limitations

The CRS supports up to a 14-day pattern, while Expedia Group can accommodate up to 28 days.

πŸ“ŒNote: The status of day 14 in your CRS pattern automatically applies to days 15-28 in Expedia Group.

Example scenario:

If day 14 is closed in your CRS pattern, days 14-28 will also show as closed (marked with x) in Expedia group.

When viewing Expedia group's FPLOS display, you can cross-reference with your CRS closures. Closed days appear as x instead of numerical LOS values.
