Rate overwrite
Rate Overwrite allows you to set specific rates that always take precedence over other pricing methods in your CRS, including season rates and rate linkage configurations. This feature provides control over your pricing strategy for specific dates and room types.
Most PMS and RMS systems that send prices to the CRS deliver them as rate overwrites. You can use Rate Overwrite independently or alongside season rates and rate linkage, depending on your pricing strategy for specific rate codes and room types.
πNote: Rates highlighted in green in various areas of the CRS indicate the entry was an overwrite for the rate code, room type and date.

Child pricing
Child pricing structure: Child pricing applies as supplements added to adult occupancy rates based on defined age groups (buckets).
Child age groups:
C1: First child age group.
C2: Second child age group.
Up to four separate age groups may be defined.
Pricing safeguard: If in the rare circumstance the total room price for adults and children exceeds the cost of treating all occupants as adults, children are automatically charged adult rates.
β οΈImportant: Rate overwrite always takes precedence over season rates and rate linkage configurations.
