Quickly resend confirmation, modification, and cancellation emails from the CRS to guests and hotel reservation offices when needed.

Below outlines how to search and resend emails.

Resend transactional emails

You can resend transactional emails from the CRS when guests request new copies or when initial delivery fails. The system allows you to resend emails to guests, hotels, or fax recipients using different methods.

Follow the steps below to resend a transactional emails.

📌Note: You need access to the reservations module and email functionality to complete these steps.

  1. Go to Reservations.

  2. Go to Email.

  3. Click the Manual Send Email tab.

  4. Select your send type:

    • Hotel res email resends transmissions to the hotel or designated recipient

    • Hotel fax email resends fax transmissions. Available if this service is contracted.

    • Guest res email resends confirmation emails to the original guest email.

  5. If you selected guest res email, an additional field appears where you can send to a different email address.

  6. Choose your number type:

    • Confirmation number for the hotel or guest emails.

    • Transmission number is for hotel emails only.

  7. Enter the corresponding number type.

  8. Click Resend.

Search and resend from email log

Follow the steps below to search and resend an email from the email logs.

  1. Go to Reservation.

  2. Go to the Email menu.

  3. Click the Send Email Log tab.

  4. Use the filtering options to locate the reservation in the log by:

    1. Confirmation number.

    2. Date range.

  5. Click Search to view results.

  6. Click Resend on the reservation’s corresponding line and you will be returned to the Manual Send Email tab for processing.

  7. The reservation details will prepopulate, click Resend.

Email send types you will see in the logs

Outlined below are the type of information you will see in the email logs.

System generated emails:

  • Auto reservation email: confirmation, modification or cancellation.

  • Pre-stay guest reservation email.

  • Post-stay guest Reservation email.

Manual resends:

  • Manual hotel reservation email: confirmation, modification or cancellation.

  • Manual guest reservation email: confirmation, modification or cancellation.
