Floating checkout sidebar explained
On the desktop checkout page of the CRS Booking Engine, you can enable a sticky sidebar that keeps key booking details—like selected rooms, rates, and total costs—visible as users scroll, for convenience. This option can be configured for each property or chain level brandings and will not interfere with any existing custom branding.

Below will outline the benefits of the sticky sidebar:
Enhanced user experience:
Keeps booking details visible while guests scroll through checkout forms.
Reduces the need for guests to scroll up and down to review their selection.
Provides constant visibility of total costs and selected options.
Conversion optimization:
Helps prevent booking abandonment by maintaining booking context.
Encourages completion by keeping the total price and room details prominent.
Creates a more seamless checkout experience.
Device compatibility:
Available for desktop and tablet browsers.
Mobile browsers automatically reposition the sidebar to the bottom of the page for optimal layout.
Enable sticky sidebar at property level
Below will outline how to enable sticky sidebar at property level:
⚠️Important: You need appropriate permissions to modify property-level branding settings.
Click Property Description on the left navigation.
Click Branding.
You will be presented with a list of property brandings already created.
Click on the name of the one you need.
This will take you directly to the modify IBE branding tab.
Check the Floating Sidebar on Desktop and Tablet Browsers checkbox to enable for this specific property branding.
Click Save.
📌Note: Property-level settings will override chain-level settings for that specific property.
Enable sticky sidebar at chain level if using multiple property brandings
The below will outline how to enable the sticky sidebar at chain level if using multiple property brandings:
Click Chain Manager on the left navigation.
Click Setup.
You will be presented with a list of property brandings already created.
Click on the name of the one you need. This will take you directly to the Modify IBE Branding tab.
Select the Floating Sidebar on Desktop and Tablet Browsers checkbox to enable for all properties using this chain level branding.
Click Save.
📌Note: This setting will apply to all properties using the selected chain level branding.
