The setup menu within chain manager allows you to establish multiple CRS booking engine brandings for use in various booking paths and apply them to some or all properties in your chain.

You can also save images in a library to have brand-ready images available for use in other areas of the system, ensuring consistency across your entire group and individual hotels.

πŸ“ŒNote: Our professional services team is available to assist with the technical portion of the branding should you wish to make changes or create a new one. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or the support team with your requirements for a quotation.

The below outlines how to apply and manage booking engine brandings.

Apply booking engine brandings

The below outlines how to apply engine brandings:

There are three scenarios where booking engine brandings are used for various booking paths:

  • Property level branding is configured for the individual property.

  • Hotel grouping branding is used when the specific ID is included in the URL.

  • Chain level branding is used when the specific ID is included in the URL.

Create new chain level booking engine branding

⚠️Important: It is useful to be knowledgeable in HTML to adjust brand specific formatting and display preferences.

After the branding is created, advanced configurations may be set:

  1. Click Chain Manager.

  2. Click Setup.

  3. Click the IBE Brandings tab.

    • All of the chain level CRS booking engine brandings currently configured are listed.

    • Enable column:

      • If checked: the booking engine branding is active for use.

      • If not checked: the branding is not available to use online.

    • Default column:

      • If checked this default applies to all properties in the chain or hotel group unless another branding is configured via a direct booking link or property default assigned.

      • Only one branding may be set as a default at a time.

  4. Click on the IBE branding name to be brought to the Modify IBE Branding tab and continue the advanced setup.

  5. Choose from the Multi Property Search Type drop down to determine if rates will display when multiple properties within a chain are shown at once.

    • Drop down list with rates: Displays the lowest non-qualified available rates for each property to give shoppers an indication of pricing.

    • Drop down list without rates: No rates are shown.

  6. Click Save.

⚠️Important: If the default chain level branding is later changed at the property level, future changes at the chain level default will bring the property back in line with the new chain level setting. It is recommended that you use hotel groupings in addition to or instead of chain level settings to make the best use of the options for your business.

  4. Click the Category from the drop down to assign an image and the page will refresh displaying any previously added.

    • The category is where these images will be available to use for each property:

      • Property.

      • Room type.

      • Group.

      • Package.

      • Independent booking engine (IBE).

      • Email.
