Default image for rate category
As a safeguard, load images to be used if none other are assigned to a specific rate.
Below will outline the recommended image specifications and how to add images and media to room types.
Recommended image specifications:
Size ratio: 4:3.
File size: 512k for optimal page loading time, maximum image size: 2MB.

Follow the steps below to enter default imagery for the CRS booking engine to use when one isnāt entered for the rate code:
Go to property description.
Go to Branding.
Go to IBE Settings tab.
Navigate to default image for rate category down the screen.
Upload Images one of two ways:
ClickāÆUpload New ImageāÆbutton to upload from your computer.
Click Choose File.
Select the file from your computer.
Click Open.
ClickāÆUse Existing ImageāÆbutton and select from images already uploaded in Multimedia section for your chain.
EnterāÆimage titleāÆfor identification.
Maximum of 80 characters.
EnterāÆSEO/Alt TextāÆfor screen readers and accessibility compliance.
Maximum of 120 characters.
Choose the rate category to assign based on the rate configuration for the image from the dropdown:
Rack or general.
Promotion.
Family.
Government.
Military.
Package.
Senior citizen.
Tour.
Convention.
Corporate.
Association.
Club.
Travel industry.
Weekend.
Consortia.
Negotiated.
In house use.
Group.
3rd party net rates.
