Map a travel agent profile to a subchannel

You can configure the CRS to automatically attach travel agent profiles to reservations received from specific channels and subchannels. This mapping ensures consistent commission tracking and agent attribution for your bookings. While commonly used for OTA profiles on OTA channel bookings, you can apply this functionality to any channel based on your business requirements.

⚠️Important: The IATA number and subchannel code must already exist in the CRS before you can create the mapping.

Follow the steps below to learn how to map a travel agent profile to a subchannel:

  1. Go to Profiles.

  2. Go to the TA Profile Mapping menu.

  3. Click Add in the upper right of the screen.

  4. Enter the IATA number.

  5. Choose the Channel from the dropdown menu.

  6. Choose the Sub Channel from the dropdown menu.

    1. Check the Continue box to keep the screen open for additional mappings, or leave unchecked to return to the main screen after saving.

  7. Click Save.

πŸ“ŒNote: The IATA database in the CRS is updated monthly with a subscription to Global System Solutions (GSS). New or recently changed IATA numbers may not be immediately available for mapping.

If you attempt to map a valid IATA number that is not yet in the CRS, the system displays an error message and prevents you from creating the mapping. You will need to log a support ticket [email protected]
