Virtual property channels

Outlined below is an introduction to virtual property channels:

The CRS makes it easy to manage rooms and rates via the primary hotel but separate to display as two properties on OTA channels. This functionality is ideal for properties with separate buildings or different selling strategies. With the same centralized control over rates, availability, and reservations, each virtual property remains integrated to the main hotel in the CRS through mapped room types.

⚠️Important: To use this functionality with OTAs, you will need an agreement in place with your OTA partners for each instance of virtual properties, ensuring proper contracting for this type of selling and seamless integration.

Highlights of the virtual property

Below will highlight the benefits of the virtual property:

  • All reservations booked via the virtual property setup will be integrated to the primary hotel for reporting and mapping to the PMS.

  • All pricing, rate codes and inventory controls continue to be entered in the primary hotel.

  • Room types may be assigned to the primary hotel or the virtual property – the room types are how they are distinguished and channeled to the OTAs.

  • If you do not have Chain Manager access please contact the support team to complete the virtual property set up on your behalf.
