Multiple room streamlined booking option
Guests book multiple rooms for various reasons and this streamlined booking flow provides an alternative to the shopping cart experience of selecting one room at a time.
The system prompts the shopper to select the required number of rooms and occupancies of each at the start of the availability search. They are guided to select the appropriate offers for each room prior to arriving in the cart.
When occupancy is the same:
The booker will be given the option to choose the same room type and dates for the second room as part of the add to cart modal step.
Alternatively, the booker may adjust their query to choose different offers and dates.
When occupancy differs:
If the occupancy of the second room does not allow for the same room or rate combination as the first room, the guest will only be presented with the option to proceed back to the list of rooms or offers to select the second room.
Enable enhanced multiroom booking
Below will outline how to enable enhanced multiroom booking:

Click Property Description on the left navigation.
Click Branding.
Go to the IBE Settings tab.
Check the box for Enable Enhanced Multiroom.
This may be enabled for IBE settings A and or IBE settings B.
Click Save.
📌Note: This setting may be changed anytime to best fit your property's business and guest needs.
Multi-property considerations
⚠️Important: For groups or chains using this feature along with the multi-property landing page in the booking engine, all properties should be using the Enhanced Multiroom option. Not having the settings match between properties may require the guest to re-enter the child ages as they move from the multi-property landing page to the property's booking engine.
📌Note: Regardless of the settings within the group, bookings will still be able to be confirmed.
Labels available for change
The following labels in the booking engine are available for customization. Below is the placeholder text in place by default.
To request changes to any of these labels, open a support case:
Multi room banner.
Multi room banner text.
Child age less than one year.
Child age.
Remove last room.
Select room rate.
Select room rate before (selecting the next room).
Select avail room rate room multi button (to select the offer to book).
Select room rate (rate detail).
Select avail room rate (rate detail).
Select avail room rate (room detail).
Select and book different room rate (modal).
Select and book same room rate (modal).
🤓Tip: Consider which labels would benefit from customization to encourage conversion based on your property's typical guest demographics and booking patterns.
