We're pleased to announce the August 2026 release of SHR Integrations, delivering improvements to Channel Connect reservation handling, a modernized ARI Activity Log experience, and several Oracle Opera Cloud (OHIP) enhancements.
What's new
SHR Channel Connect
Enhanced Failure Alerts for Failed Reservations
When an inbound Channel Connect reservation fails to post into the CRS, the automated failure alert email sent to a property's alert address now includes booking details: guest name, arrival and departure dates, subchannel source, booking ID, room type, and rate plan. This gives hotel staff the context needed to investigate and resolve failed bookings faster, without exposing any payment card information.
Smarter Handling for Unmatched Modifications
Previously, if a booking modification came in through Channel Connect and the original reservation couldn't be found in the CRS, the system would automatically create a new reservation, which could result in duplicates for properties that recently migrated from another channel manager. Properties can now choose to have unmatched modifications skipped instead of creating a new reservation. There is a toggleable option on the channel setup page labeled "Skip Auto-Create Reservation on Modify" that must be enabled if you'd like to avoid creating new bookings from Modify. If you'd like to have this feature enabled, please contact support.
Tax Calculation Alignment for Inbound Reservations
Corrected an inconsistency in how inbound Channel Connect reservation rates were calculated when a rate offset and percentage adjustment were both present. The calculation order now matches Hopper, RateGain, and Siteminder connections, ensuring consistent base rate and tax results across channels.
External Booking Channels Activity Log - Modernized Experience
We're rolling out a modernized version of the ARI Activity Log experience within all channels. Once a property is switched over, the Activity page will look and behave differently from the legacy view, with several new capabilities. Over the next couple of months, we will be rolling this out channel by channel. Here's what to expect:
New look and feel: The ARI Activity page has a refreshed layout and experience compared to the legacy view.
Log history restarts at switchover: Previously queued log entries will no longer appear on the Activity tab once a property moves to the new experience. Only new activity generated after the switch will show going forward.
New status summary: The Activity page now shows a summary of message statuses, Success, Failure, Error, Skipped, and Pending, that weren't visible in the legacy view.
Updated filter for rates, inventory & availability: The previous "All" filter mixed reservation activity in with other message types. The new filter groups Rates, Inventory, and Availability together; other message types (such as reservations) remain accessible but continue to display in the legacy log style.
New "Skipped" status with reasons shown: Messages can now show a Skipped status, for example due to ARI suppression, a missing channel mapping, or a setup issue, and the Activity page will display the specific reason for each skipped message.
Bundled messages are now visible: Where multiple event IDs are grouped under a single payload, the modern view now displays that bundling. This wasn't visible in the legacy experience.
New message detail view: Clicking an Event ID now opens a detail pop-up showing the full message and response, a new view that didn't exist in the legacy experience.
Pipeline timeline visibility: A new option lets you see the exact processing timeline for a message, from when it was first received through to when it was sent to the channel.
Activity log may lag by a few minutes: Messages can be processed and delivered to the channel successfully before they appear in the Activity log, which can take up to 10 minutes due to background processing cycles.
Not yet available for Derbysoft Go: The modernized Activity log experience does not currently extend to Derbysoft Go; that channel will continue to use the legacy log view for now.

Oracle Opera Cloud (OHIP)
Fewer API Calls for Reservation Updates
The CRS now stores the OHIP Reservation ID the first time a booking is created, so modifications, cancellations, and payment postings no longer require an extra lookup call to OHIP. This reduces API usage and speeds up reservation updates. Existing reservations are unaffected and continue to work as before.
Payment Token Retention for PMS-Sourced Bookings
For properties without a payment gateway enabled in the CRS, payment tokens from PMS-sourced bookings can now be retained in the CRS. This means guests won't be asked to re-enter card details when a reservation is modified through IDS, CRO, or the IBE.
Add-On Cost Bundling Option
Properties will be able to choose whether add-on charges such as breakfast, parking, or resort fees, are billed separately or bundled into the nightly room rate, matching the option already available for OXI-connected properties. When bundled, the add-on charge is still itemized but flagged as included in the rate, so it won't be billed twice.
Promotion Code Sync from Opera Cloud
We're building the ability to retrieve promotion codes directly from Opera Cloud and automatically create matching access codes tied to rate plans in the CRS, reducing manual setup for promotion management. This will be available via the PMS Interface Re-sync tab within Chain Manager â PMS Interface. If you do not have user access to this section and want to import promo/access codes, please contact support.
Users will be able to choose a promo category to import all codes within that category, or can specify the promo code to pull in.
